QML Pathology Service Update for Referrers: Cyclone Alfred

Approximately 100 of our QML Collections Centres remain closed today due to impacts from ex-cyclone Alfred. These closures are concentrated in the western areas (Ipswich, Toowoomba etc). Patients should check our website for up-to-date information on all locations across South East Queensland and Northern NSW before attending a Collection Centre.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will reopen the Collection Centres when it is safe to do so.

QML courier services have resumed in South East Queensland and Northern NSW.

Our main QML laboratory at Murarrie has reopened.

Laverty Pathology Service Update for Referrers: Cyclone Alfred  

The majority of Laverty Pathology Collection Centres are now open. A handful of sites on the Mid North Coast are still closed due to localised flooding.  

Patients should check our website for up-to-date information before attending one of our Collection Centres in these areas to confirm the opening hours.

Courier services are running, but in impacted areas are dependent on weather and road conditions.

Due to heavy rain and flooding overnight, around half of our QML Collection Centres in South East Queensland and Northern NSW will be closed today, 10 March.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will reopen Collection Centres when it is safe to do so.

Patients should check our website for up-to-date information on all locations across South East Queensland and Northern NSW before attending a Collection Centre.

Courier services in South East Queensland and Northern NSW are resuming, however are dependent on weather and road conditions.  

Our main QML laboratory at Murarrie has reopened, however there may be some delays to reporting as we work through the backlog.

We expect the majority of QML Collections Centres in South East Queensland and Northern NSW to reopen on Monday 10 March, however patients should check our website for up-to-date information on all locations across SE Queensland and Northern NSW, because some of the opening hours may have changed.  

Courier services in South East Queensland and Northern NSW are resuming, however are dependent on weather and road conditions.  

Our main QML laboratory at Murarrie has reopened on Sunday 9 March. We are working to get our laboratory services back up and running as quickly as possible, however there may be some delays to reporting as we work through the backlog.

QML Collection Centres in South East Queensland and Northern NSW are closed on Friday 7 March, Saturday 8 March and Sunday 9 March. Patients should check our website for up-to-date information on all locations across Queensland and Northern NSW.

Courier services in South East Queensland and Northern NSW are not currently running.

Our main QML laboratory at Murarrie is closed.

We have enacted our business continuity plans to minimise disruption to our services and we are closely monitoring the situation. We will reopen when it is safe to do so.
