Eric Swayn

Mr Swayn was appointed Group Executive – Operations in May 2026 with responsibility for leading Healius’ national laboratory operations, courier services, warehousing and veterinary pathology. Eric joined Healius in 2025 as National Laboratory Operations Manager.

Eric has almost three decades experience in the pathology sector in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining Healius, Eric held senior leadership roles at Awanui Pathology in New Zealand, Australian Clinical Labs, where he served as CEO for South Australia and the Northern Territory, and Healthscope Pathology.

Eric has extensive experience in building and leading laboratory networks, driving operational efficiency and supporting high-quality patient outcomes across geographically diverse services.

Eric is also a Non-Executive Director on the Board of the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA).
